Brooke Ross

Front Range Community Lead

Brooke Ross (she/her) is the Front Range Community Lead and Volunteer Coordinator for She Sends Collective, where she brings both heart and hustle to growing programs and fostering connection across Colorado's Front Range. Based near Boulder, Brooke first found her way to She Sends in 2022 as a regular at Climb + Coffee events, drawn in by the community just as much as the climbing. That sense of belonging inspired her to step up as a volunteer and, eventually, into a leadership role dedicated to making sure more women and gender queer climbers can experience the same thing.

At the core of Brooke's work is a deep passion for bringing women and gender expansive climbers outdoors in a safe and accessible setting. She finds joy in creating spaces where people who might never cross paths in everyday life can come together, build trust, and empower one another through education and shared adventure at local crags. As an ambassador for the Send it Sisters women's program at G1 Climbing + Fitness, she carries that same spirit into her gym community, connecting climbers and helping them take their next step outside.

Currently working toward her AMGA Single Pitch Instructor certification, Brooke is a lifelong learner in every sense of the word. Her background as a K-12 Music Education teacher shaped her love of teaching, and that foundation shows up in everything she does, whether she's (someday) leading an outdoor clinic or welcoming a first-time climber to a meetup. These days she channels her analytical mind as a Business Analyst for a music technology company, but her teacher's heart never clocked out.

When she's not at the crag or coordinating events, Brooke can be found writing and playing music (on more instruments than she'll admit to), running, crafting, eating great food, and playing board games with her husband and friends. At home, she is completely and unapologetically obsessed with her two cats.
