The Mindful Send Retreats

A She Sends Immersive Experience

She Sends was never just about climbing harder.

Climbing has historically been male-dominated, and like many performance spaces, it has often prioritized intensity over integration — chasing grades, pushing limits, proving worth.

And while there is strength in that drive, we know climbing holds far more depth than that.

Because climbing doesn’t just test your body.

It exposes your fear.
Your self-doubt.
Your resilience.
Your relationship to control.
Your ability to trust.

From day one, She Sends has intentionally integrated mindfulness and therapeutic principles into our programming as a response to the long-standing machismo culture within the sport. We teach technical skills — yes. But we also teach climbers how to breathe through fear, reframe inner dialogue, regulate their nervous systems, and support one another with intention.

The Mindful Send Retreat is the fullest expression of that vision yet.

It is a thoughtfully designed container for participants to explore both the physical strength and emotional depth that climbing has to offer — inviting each person into courage, regulation, and self-awareness.
