The Mindful Send Retreat
Shelf Road • Cañon City, Colorado
April 16-19, 2026

A Different Kind of Climbing Retreat
There is something that happens when we approach climbing with mindfulness.

When we stop climbing to prove something — or simply to send — and begin climbing with curiosity, compassion, and presence.

The Mindful Send Retreat at Shelf Road is a three-day immersive experience designed for climbers who want to explore both the physical and emotional dimensions of climbing.

Together, we will move beyond grade-chasing and into a deeper exploration of fear, confidence, nervous system regulation, and authentic connection — both on and off the wall.

Led by Chelsea Rude, She Sends Founder, guide, and performance coach, alongside Lia Wolfe, Director of Therapeutic Programming and Founder of Glacier Lily Therapy, this retreat creates a container rooted in:

• Safety
• Consent
• Choice
• Curiosity
• Personal agency

Participants leave not only with tools for climbing, but tools for navigating their inner world with greater awareness and resilience.

Why This Retreat is Different
Most climbing retreats focus primarily on movement or technical skills.

The Mindful Send Retreat integrates climbing with therapeutic and mindfulness-based frameworks, exploring:

• The relationship between fear and performance
• Nervous system regulation in high-stress moments
• Values-based action instead of outcome chasing
• Building internal safety alongside external skill
• Community rooted in connection rather than comparison

You won’t just learn to be a stronger climber.

You’ll learn how to move through challenge with regulation, compassion, and self-trust.
We believe transformational experiences should be both intentional and accessible.

The Mindful Send Retreat includes professional guiding, therapeutic facilitation, lodging, meals, and immersive programming designed to support both your climbing and personal growth.
