About the Event

She Sends: Introduction to Bouldering Outdoors

Bouldering is more easily accessible for people because you don't need a lot of extra gear and you don't necessarily need a partner. But it can be scary to venture outside to do it, especially if you're unfamiliar with crash pad placements, spotting techniques or how to fall correctly. With this clinic you will learn all of these things, as well as risk assessment prior to climbing. Additionally, you will spend all morning climbing with a group of stoked ladies and 2 guides, which means making new friends, having fun and meaningful conversation and lots of laughter, too.

Where Will We Climb? Flagstaff Mountain, Boulder, CO (meeting location will be emailed with your confirmation after you register)

What Will I Learn? Crashpad placement, spotting techniques, learn how to fall safely, basic technique, Leave No Trace ethics in bouldering and other questions you all might have.

How Much? $85

Prerequisites? None that are climbing specific, but you must be at least 18 years old to attend.

Covid Precautions: A mask will be worn if distances of 6 feet are unable to be maintained.

Do I Need My Own Crashpad? NOPE! We have you covered. You'll just need to bring your chalk + shoes + water + snacks
